Cosmic Landscapes
Adelaide flute ensemble Coruscalia Collective will take the audience from the barren, icy landscape of Estonia to the far reaches of space in this concert of music by living composers, using a range of instruments from piccolo to bass flute, with visuals designed by artist Orlando Mee.
The music includes works by Australian composer Karen De Nardi and Vincent Giles, and international composers Catherine McMichael, Nicole Chamberlain and Gareth McLearnon.

Using a range of instruments from piccolo to bass flute, Adelaide flute ensemble Coruscalia Collective will take the audience from the barren, icy landscape of Estonia to the far reaches of space in this concert of music by living composers. The diverse timbres and textures of the music will be paired with abstract visuals to create an immersive experience.
The music includes works by South Australian composer Karen De Nardi, Australian composers Vincent Giles and Keyna Wilkins, and international composers Nicole Chamberlain and Gareth McLearnon.

Coruscalia Collective, Adelaide's new flute ensemble, will bring a program of Australian and overseas compositions to Morialta Uniting Church. Playing a range of flutes including piccolo, alto flutes and bass flute, the Collective will perform music by Adelaide composers David John Lang and Karen De Nardi, as well as Ross Edward's beautiful Night Flowers, and Fran Griffin's profound Drying Land, Dying Land?
